I Knit Kenya was founded in February of 2017 by a Kenyan-born creative artist Fatuma Ramadhan during her university days at the Multimedia University of Kenya with the intention of redefining the wearable art space through handmade crochet and knit pieces. As a slow fashion brand, all products are mostly ‘made to order’ and in small batches to avoid overproduction and wastage, with a lot of love and care put into the production of each and every stitch. I Knit Kenya is a brand founded upon desire to bring to life ‘high quality ‘wearable art in the most unique manner best known to me.

As a graduate with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, this is a path I never guessed I’d ever go down, but here I am loving every minute of it.
